Rugby Club returns to Spain for the 2nd year running!
We were pleased to welcome back Hull Rugby Club this year, after the
success of their training camp with us last year.
They arrived around midday on Wednesday the 21st of Jan 2004. Our
representative met them at the airport, and went with them to their
4 star hotel, the Amaragua in Torremolinos, which was to be their
base for the next 7 nights. After checking in, they had a light lunch,
before going off to their first training session.
Their training schedule was worked out in advance, with the team training
twice a day for 1 1/2 hours each session. On Saturday they decided
to rest the players, and to take advantage of the beautiful weather.
On Sunday they changed their training, and opted to spend a couple
of hours in the Sports Hall in the morning, with team activities,
and then spent the afternoon training in the indoor 50m Olympic swimming
pool at the Torremolinos sports centre.
The group had a fantastic week here on the Costa del Sol with 7 full
days of sun they all went home very happy.
